2 Guys that love music
These guys know music. Not just if it is a good or bad song or who produced it, but the details of how the song came about. It is like listening to two great friends discuss the song’s musical development, tracing the evolution of its melody, harmony, and rhythm over time. They identify what songs previously had that drum beat or guitar riff. What genre(s) are in the songs genealogy and what was the cultural or historical background of the song. Along the way, they throw in tidbits of info about the musicians who performed these songs. It’s time well spent and I thoroughly enjoy tuning in to each new episode.

This podcast is just a rip off of a show done by a man who used to work for SXM. The Session by Christian James Hand.
