“Ok, first let me say it’s so fun listening to these two hosts. Their upbeat tempo and respect for the music (and each other) brightens my day.
But this is no echo chamber. What really makes this podcast sing are questions like “who’s The Rolling Stones of hip hop?” The beauty happens where Diallo and Luxxury’s disparate backgrounds overlap.
These guys do their homework and the comparisons and isolated tracks make the analysis killer… can’t wait to see what they dig up next! Unlike some other music podcasts, these guys are DJ’s playing to the masses. No Bflat 9 dissonance music nerd stuff here.
To keep it fresh, some shows are live, some in the studio and some with guest artists. This formula works great and I totally agree… what is up with the cult of Dylan?”
