As a New Yorker and history buff, I find this podcast really informative and witty. I also must ask the show's producer to please fade the music out after the intro. Please only use music in the opening and closing of podcasts .. Not during the entire piece, it makes it much harder to listen to and gets repetitive ... Annoys me in the Smodcast too (Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier's podcasts) ... This would improve the podcast immensely!Read full review »

What's with the old-timey soundtrack? How does Scott Joplin enhance stories about modern New York? The last player piano I saw was in a museum. Using one here is horribly distracting, and takes away from the generally fine content of the podcast.Read full review »
