What took me so long to find this podcast?
The good thing about discovering OnScript three and a half years in is that I don't have to wait for the next episode. When I finish one episode, I can go right to the next one. I love that because I love this podcast. It helps me keep on top of the flow of books published in biblical and theological studies, and helps me know what -- and who -- I want to read next. Its strengths are the books and athors chosen, the knowledge Matt and Matt and Co. have of the field and their preparation for each interview, and the humor that finds its way into most episodes. All that keeps me coming back for more. [Side note: I came across another similar podcast recently and subscribed to it. However, after listening to not quite two full episodes, I unsubscirbed. Though the authors featured were a coiuple of my favorites, the interviewer (no offense intended to him) wasn't as insightful as the OnScript crew and the interviews were a bit on the dry side.] I hope this podcast is around for a long time.Read full review »
