“I gave this three stars because the Paul Multi-verse interview is painful for a first introduction to this podcast series.
The moderator is very talented at trying to take a physicist who is unskilled at communicating his expertise to a general audience, and who also has a weak ability to communicate how it links to the Bible. To be fair, these are difficult spheres to merge, but there are talent people out there who communicate and marry the core principles and threads in accessible ways (I’m no aficionado, but I.e. Rob Bell, Brian Greene).
If there’s a value to this podcast I apologize, but I’d say it should have been heavily edited, or condensed for the average listener. I couldn’t get through it, and in respect to the audience’s collective time, the long-form of this interview has very small time:value ratio.
Unless it’s a cult-classic for people who like Ricky Gervais or Sacha Baron Cohen (sp?) and want to listen while on their medical marijuana therapies (seriously, this interview would be awesome for that), I context why it’s listed as “best of” in the podcast by iTunes.
I don’t mean for this to be a personal attack or hard feelings, just informative or prospective listeners.”
