The woodpeckers podcast 13th August 2020
This programme was absolutely fascinating with many perfect descriptions of the quest to find the fledglings in the nest. Not so keen on the vision of a cigar smoking spider though but it did make me laugh! I live in Bulgaria and when I first came here from the uk I strung up peanuts for the birds. My Bulgarian neighbour asked me if Bulgarian birds knew about peanuts. Turned out they didn’t have a clue!

I just discovered this podcast and am really enjoying it. I've always wanted to do a walking tour in England, so this allows me some genuine insight into what these areas are like. Informative and real, not just some cutie-pie version of rural England.Read full review »
