Meh
I was hoping for more from this show. I’d wanted a spirited debate, but instead it’s just tiresome. I’ve listened to all of the episodes so far, hoping they’d find their stride, but it’s mostly a rehash of arguments that have been made better on Twitter. I think the personalities of the two hosts don’t make for an interesting show together, which isn’t to say they wouldn't work on another platform. I’m unsubscribing.Read full review »

May it please be corrected that during the aftermath of the ‘95 referendum, Jacques Parizeau, and not René Lévesque who had been dead since ‘87, mentioned that sovereignty had been defeated in part by the ethnic votes.

As a stalwart Canadaland fan I was excited to hear what Oppo would be like, and although there is room for a good Canadian politics podcast I don't think this will be it. There is some seriously over-indulgent hosting, and a needless stream of profanities to boot.Read full review »
