I am so amazed at the truth and power that Isabel Wilkerson gives to the written word! I picked this book up and read it in two and a half days. Oprah was so on point in creating this podcast because this book is so important. Oprah and Isabell are two brilliant black women queen leaders overcoming all the obstacles and racism that black women face to empower us to take our rightful places in the sun! And no one, no small ignorant, petty, white, hateful racist on this thread can take one iota of their light and power. They are here and they are shining bright!!

The personal stories of racial profiling, and outright hate, expressed by those who experienced it, are uncomfortable to listen to. That’s why we all need to listen. Thank you, Oprah. for choosing this book.
