“After seven minutes into the latest episode (three of season seven), I had to shut it off. I was so offended by their ignorance and dismissive commentary concerning Warden Ward. (I am not a black woman.) Their racism literally made me nauseous. Looking for an updated OITNB podcast, I was willing to set aside their unintelligent banter. But once they smugly and weakly shared their inane and racist comments, I had to shut it off. You think that the drug-smuggling, moronic Hopper should have been warden and dismiss Ward entirely out of hand? Yes, Linda admits she did it for the diversity grant, but who are you to second-guess a black character’s insight into affirmative action? Check your privilege, Ladies.”
