“I just finished listening to Kim’s interview with Wim Hof. His work seems really cool, and it seems Kim has some very interesting things to say as well however at one point very misguided, I feel. I would like to ask her to reconsider her gender essentialist view that gender neutrality is unnatural in some way. Gender is a social construct. I should also include that I am a cis woman and am not trying to tear anyone down. It is not rude to achieve your own feminine energetic through whatever practice you are doing but saying that everyone should subscribe to your (traditional) guidelines for gender is denying the existence of other people’s lives and experiences and is exclusionary.
