This is a podcast that stays with me days/weeks/ even years later. Each episode challenges me to think about who we are as humans and has totally flipped what I always thought the answers were.

This show offers us a view of the evolutionary paths taken by our ancestors. It is presented in simple language and we share the joy and wonder of the presenters as they explain their work and research.

Interesting topics and information. The hosts delivery verges on simplistic baby talk. Makes listening almost unbearable.

I love these episodes. The lady is really amazing because she makes such calming episodes. It’s like a massage for the nervous system and so interesting at the same time!

Early episodes very good but now they have given up talking about the actual discoveries, excavations and science to focus on personalities, politics and the minutiae of daily life. This is not interesting. I’m unsubscribing.

Episode was so fascinating. Elaborating not just on the finding of a new hominid species, but our own place on among many. A story told with a sense of wonder.

Origin Stories is full of fascinating, thought-provoking episodes about what it means to be human. No other podcast compares when it comes to exploring humanity’s ancient past. This has quickly become one of my favorite science podcasts!

Excellent episodes about who, where, and why we are. Interesting topics, engaging guests, and informative, science-based content. Episodes are not too long and (mostly) move along clearly and concisely with discussions and explanations. Would love to have new episodes more often and at a...Read full review »

Looks like they took the money and ran. No new Information about Hominins since 2021. 8 Billion people spread around every corner of the globe and yet there are no new discoveries about our species or our brother and sister species.

They just gave an entire podcast in Spanish. Frankly, really inconsiderate. I’m sure that people who speak Spanish subscribe to Spanish language podcasts, not English ones. Please don’t offer non-English podcasts to subscribers in future. I am sure 90% of listeners did not appreciate it.

I’ve been trying to get into podcasts for years. Time and time again I would press play on one and find that 5 minutes later I had completely zoned out. Why on earth is nondescript music played over the dialogue. I am partly deaf, and turned off as I could not hear what was being said. Music also dumbs down the whole programme.
