I tried and couldn’t do it.
I know there’s a genuine effort made here and hard work put into this. I really wanted to like it. I love the concept and I’m very sad to say this but… This is sooooo boring! I’ve listened to the first two episodes and two that were the most recent at the time of writing this review and I can’t make it any further. I keep waiting for something to happen and so far, nothing has. I can’t confirm this (because if I continue listening, I will die of boredom) but I have a feeling It’s just a fantasy about secretly cool people being secretly cool which will have to continue to be boring because secretly cool people never have any actual problems, can’t be in real danger, can’t be genuinely lost (cause they have a photographic memory ex machina) and so on. Also, the voice acting really pulls me out of the story (in newer episodes too), the music and sound design also doesn’t do much for me. So I’m really sorry but I can’t recommend this podcast to anyone who is looking for a good weird fiction thing.

This podcast is so good. I mean, there's only one episode out so far but it's so good. Gave me chills while on the bus.Read full review »

Story and idea are great. But the voice acting is horrible especially Monica. She is actually just reading and doing it poorly. Going to give it a bit more, but she could be the reason I will stop listening.

I found Ostium through Welcome To Nightvale. Devoured the first season during my commutes this week. Pacing is fantastic. Loving the mystery.
