Amazing podcast.
Hilary is showing us how therapy should be done with compassion and sensitivity, and without judgement or interference in the client’s decision making process. She is so knowledgeable in many areas of psychology including neuroscience. I have worked with a number of therapists and feel her approach and compassion are exactly what therapy should be all about. She is gifted in what she does and I really hope she’s able to continue these podcasts for many more years to come. I have learned so much by listening to her guide her clients through dealing with trauma and life’s challenges. I thank Hilary, her clients and the CBC for giving listeners access to private therapy sessions. Invaluable lessons to be learnt by just listening!

I’m only a few episodes in but find this podcast absolutely captivating, informative and also very helpful. It steers listeners to becoming more aware of our emotions and more understanding of both ourselves and the people around us.

I was diagnosed with complex ptsd and didn’t understand at first why, but listening to all of Sloane’s episodes made a light go off for me. It’s helping me accept and understand what’s going on with me. I could not be more grateful to Hillary and Sloane for sharing this with us.

There’s a reason therapy should be private.
