“This podcasts features an array of authors -- some critically acclaimed, some are off-the-radar but still great, and that is why they are featured on Other People. Listi is a great host particularly because he is a writer himself, not just a commentator, and also because he is not pretentious and can make any conversation interesting by posing interesting questions. He also has a way of letting the author "tell it like it is" -- if that author is particularly erudite or presents a complex idea, Listi is right there with them. He also discusses writing issues and strategies, and asks questions about the artistic or creative process, which I am most interested in. Some authors are also very colloquial and some are downright sophomoric or childish (verbally), but the show is still very interesting. No matter the featured guest, Listi engages them and the listener. I started by listening to past episodes featuring writers that I already know and now I listen to every episode. Great job!”Read full review »

“The Other People podcast has great author interviews and insights.
And Brad also offers a new approach to "express yourself". Check out Episode 23 with Dennis Cooper & make sure to hang in until the very end.”Read full review »
