Intelligent. Insightful. Unapologetic. Unsavory (in a good way).
Brad Listi packs no punches. Just when you think there's nothing an interviewer (or literary commentator for that matter) can say that'll re-ignite your passion for books, Listi will come out with a pearler [sic] that challenges his interviewees to talk about something new, refreshing, honest. His interviewees are recalcitrants and failures, hopefuls and weirdos. And yet he struggles along with each of them. Searching, playing, actively listening and responding (never just reading from a prepared list of Qs). I listen to Brad Listi like I listen to my parents. Respectfully and open-mindedly, with a touch of wonder. You down with Other People Podcast? Yeah, you know me. LBB.Read full review »

This is the best author interview podcast going. Consistently interesting. Funny. Informative. Other People is one of the few book related podcasts that leaves me wanting more.

The funniest monotone on the internet. He makes authors seem like flesh and blood and my own desire to be a published fiction writer seem reachable.

His interview with Ruth Wariner was excellent. I loved the way he was trying to grasp fundamental Mormonism
