If you're looking for in-depth explorations of a text then this isn't the podcast for you but Brad's special take on writers is to find out who they are. Expect remembered childhoods, descriptions of college years, how luck or hard work or sheer outrageous talent or a combination of all three flipped these aspiring writers into the real deal. Expect screenwriters, poets, established authors and up and coming writers. As a nosy lover of American culture this is a great window into American writing.
