“I only recently discovered the Our Hen House podcast and I am hooked! Immediately hooked!
Jasmin and Mariann pack so much punch into these hour-long episodes (usually an hour + 10 minutes on average) and still they manage to keep the pace so crisp and fresh, keeping everything moving.
I appreciate that clear distinctions are made between their many "segments" so I know when they're going to news, when they're going to user emails, when they're going to interviews, etc…
Mostly, I love that I can feel the loving relationship between the two co-hosts. It really makes me feel like I am invited over for coffee with two wonderful friends who are welcoming me into their life.
Our Hen House is so much more than a podcast. They've got a wonderful site that reads like a comprehensive online magazine. It's such a great jumping off point for the new vegan who is looking for resources, and it's great even for the seasoned vegan & animal-right activist who is looking to galvanize their convictions and fortify their beliefs by staying on the cutting edge of the issues.
Jasmin and Mariann really have their finger on the pulse of the animal rights movement, and with total transparency they show their viewers how to stay just as informed as they are.
I have been vegan over two years, and have been listening to many (MANNNNY) podcasts in that time, but Our Hen House has INSTANTLY become my new favorite vegan resource. Thanks, ladies, for all of your love and hard work! I can't stop recommending your podcast!
