Our love Journey - Childhood traumas
You guys, i honestly don't have enough words. I only wish there was such a platform when i was growing up then again, I'm certain my future babies will and that brings calm. Thank you for you and heeding to God’s call. I love what Mpoomy said about her mom saying sorry and how that has helped her become a more conscious parent. I don't have children yet and for the longest time was afraid to have kids, especially daughters. I was sexually abused as a child by a close neighbor and my parents were so strict i couldn't tell them that had happened incase i was in the wrong. They still have no idea, I'm now 33 and this happened around 6 yrs old. My father had anger issues and would often lash out and beat us up, it took therapy for me to be empathetic to him because he had a horrible childhood. Im still in therapy and it’s really helping not only to heal myself but to see my parents as human being that did their best with the foundations they drew from. I could go on forever. But thank you for this platform, it means so much and has opened up conversations even with myself that i never would have had. May the Lord bless you.Read full review »
