It’s hard to put into words how much I’ve enjoyed this podcast. I’ve listened to close to 100 podcasts, and nothing has grabbed me as much as TMA until I found this. Ben Counter’s narration is incredible. Each episode is equally captivating. Best of all, it makes you think. After each episode...Read full review »

If you like Magnus Archives you’ll like this. Episodic alternate timeline archival cosmic horror. Great writing, great production. I look forward to every new episode. We need a season 3 stat! I think I’ve listened to Out of Place 4-5 times already. Such good worldbuilding, increased levels of...Read full review »

Best audio pod I’ve heard yet! So simple, yet gradually revealing.., such striking ideas that stay with you, and brilliantly narrated. Love it!

This show really affects me in such a deep, visceral way that I genuinely don’t know if I could ever truly articulate. It invokes a sort of philosophical nausea unlike anything else in the horror audio drama sphere I’ve seen before or since. The episodes that particularly stand out to me will...Read full review »

Truly a show of phenomenal substance. The listener certainly gets to know the narrator a bit more as the show marches on, however the plot is not overly focused on the narrator’s life outside of work which is a good thing; it is not a show about a man but rather the peculiar things he discovers,...Read full review »

The perfect thing about Out Of Place, it knows how good it is and works with it. It drafts these incredible stories and manages to weave them together perfectly for such an amazing listen. Andrew’s character is a brilliant balance of self loathing and empathy which really draws you in and...Read full review »

I’ve only recently stumbled upon midnight disease productions but they are all absolutely amazing. This show and the introspective way they are able to explore these out of world events and philosophical curiosities is unrivaled as far as I can tell. I would love to hear more seasons of this...Read full review »

Dives into some nice history mid cuts, clean sound editing and credible delivery. I’ve been looking for this a long while!

Beautifully written, conceptually compelling; a well-executed production of a very deserving story. Some may find it starts a little slowly, but fails not to deliver on the investment. Between this and Margaret’s Garden, I think Pacific may be onto something. I’d love to see more.

Science fiction/alternate history that veers towards horror. Throughout the first season, an archivist receives an item from an alternate world and speculates on the consequences of a deviation in history based on the item's details, comparing it to what happened in our reality. I preferred the style of season one, but both seasons were well done. Thank you!

At first I was hesitant…season one had a reminiscent style to the Magnus Archives than in season 2 it somehow keeps that feeling all the while giving me the feeling of watching Stargate SG1 or Sliders. Love it and can’t wait for more

I really love the world building and the contrast between the curmudgeonly grouchy pessimist narrator and his refreshing idealistic and noble morals. The characters and worlds he describes are vivid and often horrifying, but provide a humanity and heart even when things are at their worst. I...Read full review »
