“I happen to be married to a Scot who moved to the USA for ME. We both love Scotland and wish we could afford to live there. I'm a book reader who only discovered Outlander about 3 or 4 years ago and fell in love with the story. Reading the books made me crave Scottish and American history even more than I already did, which made me go on to pursue many more history books than I may have done otherwise.
My hubby and I are LOVING the series and I wasn't sure if I'd like this podcast because of the "No Spoilers" rule. Turns out it's GREAT! I love hearing Blake's Boston accent and his perspective as a guy AND a non-reader. I feel like those of us who really LOVE the books may see the series in a very biased way. It's so good to hear a discussion of the scenes. But the best thing is that Mary and Blake are really entertaining and funny. I didn't want to love them, but I DO!
