I've just listened to this episode, and finished it in tears. What a moving, uplifting, wonderful story. Told so matter-of-factly by Manni, no gushing or melodrama, no 'I-I-I, my feelings, my journey' all the time, but you could feel his love for Reuben in every word he spoke. I used to do volunteer work in a home for Downes Syndrome children when I was a student, and so much of what he said brought back memories. I could have listened all day. Wherever I wander in the podcast universe, I find that I come back to Outlook, again and again. The voices of the interviewees shine through - the interviewers are skilled at stepping back and guiding the interviewees to tell their stories without imposing their own preconceptions. A gem.
