“I love books. I always have. I love them so much I work in a bookstore (so you know my opinion on this stuff is valid). I love to hear about stuff that people are reading and especially stuff that's outside of my usual wheelhouse of science fiction and old-timey Thomas Hardy-esque novels about how sucky life is or books about killing large animals. And since part of my job is to know about every single book in my store, this podcast is really helpful.
Andrew and Craig both have great voices (in a storytelling sense, not that their pipes are bad or anything) and points of view, listening to them prattle on about an author's life story, plot details of a book, or goofy pop culture references is a joy. The two hosts clearly have a great relationship on and off the mic and it shows through their reparté.
If you're looking for any sort of podcast about literature or whether you're just in the mood to hear two broes chat with each other for an hour, 'Overdue' is worth a listen.”Read full review »
