It has become one of my favorite shows. David and Ellie are a delight to listen to, and talk deeply about topics without any confusing lingo.

I love that this show introduces me to concepts or topics I never think about. I listened to the episode in intoxication, thought it was fascinating, and am now reading one of the books referenced in the episode. Thank you for an excellent show and for helping me learn about the world.

Strikes a perfect balance between interrogating rich texts and providing modern contextualization. I tell my friends… this is the only Not-Annoying philosophy pod!

I’m obsessed with this podcast. As someone who overthinks everything but also doesn’t have all the vocabulary to fully explore these thoughts and ideas, this pod has really expanded my knowledge and understanding on a lot of things. Their personalities are also top tier and gel so well together.

I listen to this podcast every week on my commute to school!! It’s one of the most entertaining and intellectually stimulating shows I’ve listened to. I love the podcast & I find it very interesting! What I would add to the discussion of the zombie episode, from my subjective experience, is that perhaps only the illusion of the zombie exists from the outside, unknown perspective as all experiences are subjective and beautiful but complex....Read full review »

They’re cool, they’re fun, and they make me (over) think! Seriously though, love listening to these two discuss philosophy. It’s very accessible yet not patronising. They apply philosophy to interesting modern phenomena which makes it very exciting. Additionally, they have great chemistry...Read full review »

I would love it if whenever you name a philosopher, you can say one of their quotes. But other than that, this is great!

I love how Ellie and David simplify difficult topics and merge them with the everyday whilst retaining the academic feeling of the topic being discussed. I love this podcast so much - truly phenomenal work.

The hosts of this podcast are well-spoken and excel in raising phisolophical insights from our everyday. I appreciate that they express their views without the filter that often accompagnies teaching in educational institutions. Intellectual treat.

I enjoy this show quite a bit, but every once in a while the hosts (and I guess this is unavoidable because they are both so young) slip into making generalizations about us older folks that strike me as naive and clueless (at best) Case in point on the exercise episode David comments on seeing...Read full review »

These two crack me up and make me think about things that I’ve never ‘thought about thinking about.’ Metacognition joke aside, they present a great blend of humor and information along with a wide array of topics. Very well done and accessible! I think there is a good mix of humor and on-topic-ness. Would recommend to anyone, but worth noting these are more philosophical conversations rather than conversations about philosophy; a lot of philosophy podcasts are the latter, so this one probably keeps more...Read full review »

I usually do not review podcasts. I mean… who has the time, am I right? But I really like this podcast.
