“So happy I stumbled upon this podcast. What an incredible series that starts with an achingly beautiful love story that goes to a gripping story of survival. From Italy to the USA, the listener is on the edge of their seat caring for this family as they try to move through one of the most dangerous times in history. It’s an important podcast to listen to, the rise of Facism in Italy parallels much of modern day politics sadly. I have shed tears, I’ve smiled, laughed, gasped out loud and have felt relief during certain episodes. Please give yourself the gift of learning about the Modigliani family and have a listen. This is a beautiful tribute to his family by David Modigliani. Papa Giulio is very proud I’m sure.
