Politics for Sensitive People
I conscientiously avoid political talk shows, speeches, pundits, and the whole dirty mess because I simply cannot stand the meanness and shouting. I do not mean that I do not like it. I mean that it causes me actual pain. It is no less upsetting than if I had people sitting in my home calling me names and shouting at me. Pantsit Politics has renewed my interest by simply being civilized. OK, civilized and intelligent. I can listen to it without feeling like I need to take a Xanax.
