Ok. First super funny. But truly it’s that guy, Johnson, that makes the show special. He is part funny man, part museum curator, part f@&khead, part knight, part broken mule, part cornbread. His voice makes him sound left handed. Is he? Is his penis Michelin starred? Asking for my husband.

This podcast is funny as hell, no matter where it takes you. John will make you laugh, make you cringe, and make you laugh again.

This was my first listen to the podcast and I was not disappointed, of course when you go into something with no expectations its difficult to disappoint unless you are a group of 7 people all shouting into a Mr Microphone in a crowded Applebees. Anyway thanks to this podcast I will never go to a...Read full review »

John and his cohosts have been turning out funny episodes since 2008, he has them all archived over at inpapasbasement.com . Check them out and feed his vanity by tweeting him!

John slowing declinig into deression and crawling his way out of it leave hundreds of hours of amusement and laughs. It is the greatest character study I have ever seen, or i gues heard.

Reminds me of when talk-radio thrived. Has what most podcasts don't: production, theater of the mind, actual humor.Read full review »

This is the talk radio I've been looking for. No niche here, just sit back and enjoy the laughs and witty commentary by host John Papageorgiou.

I've been listening to this show for a long time. It's amazing to think how much has been dedicated to this. It just keeps getting better. John is quick and can go toe to toe with other big hitter pods. Keep it coming and I'll keep listening.Read full review »

Young enough to be from a generation that is still fresh and old enough to be from a generation that is capable of a sense of humour. This guy comes through with original humour pertinent to the subjects he's speaking on. A good laugh well worth the listen!

I discovered this show via a link from Drew Magary to a piece John wrote about fast food years ago. I've been listening to the show ever since. It's rare when I stick with a podcast, but John has a natural humor and honesty about himself that is refreshing, if not kind of troubling.Read full review »

Living in the D.C. area is difficult for many reasons, but the worst of all is the commute. Having a few podcasts to listen to during said commute is an absolute must for this area. Listen to a semi-grown man-child deal with his smothering childhood and the alleged freedom of adulthood. The only podcast I have ever listened to that uses the word Schism in any context other than a discussion about the group Tool. This, alone, makes it a special show.
