Sensationalism on the reporters side, not so convincing
Sorry, but the reporter Steven just asks the most indecent questions and makes the most shallow assumptions about what so-called „normal“ children would or wouldn’t have done in a horrific situation like the one they have experienced (and the reporter most likely has not, so he has no freaking idea whether children behave in a certain way or not. And what is „normal“, by the way?!?!?)…so that it really makes me wonder about journalistic integrity here. Not so well done, dear BBC.

Loved this from start to finish. Compelling, detailed, dogged, exhaustive, poignant, moving - really everything you’d want in a true crime podcast.

An incredible true story told with empathy, care and honesty, pieced together by sheer tenacity and diligence and showcasing all that is to be admired and feared in human nature. Thanku BBC, a little treasure from a national treasure.
