Thorough and worth listening to…
What makes this captivating isn’t just the story but it’s the dogged spirit, empathy and intelligence demonstrated by the two journalists. They are unafraid to ask the painful, uncomfortable questions. The results of this investigation are a testament to the power of persistence by the family, certain dedicated law enforcement personnel and the journalists. The case is fascinating and I’ve never listened to a podcast in which no stone was left unturned. As an aside, the podcast mercifully does not resonate with “real crime” podcasts that insult your intelligence and disrespect the victims and their families. This is a true, respectful investigative piece.

Good series, lots of info. Very interesting. BUT as per other reviewers, I felt that a lot of the interviewing was remarkably insensitive.

This was presented in such a poor way that you could skip forward a couple of minutes and you wouldn’t even notice. The Irish reporter has a very “emotionally led” approach (and sometimes a very know it all attitude). I prefer more objective reporting with less fluff. Very interesting story though!

A mesmerising investigation that subsumed me so much that I’m almost sure I was there; on the Justin B, searching in the cemetery and mourning with the families. So many questions.
