“If you're after good advice, insight, etc., then Meeker is a good source. But this doesn't feel like a podcast so much as it feels like some 30-minute radio spot on Christian radio that your parents listen to on the way home from church on Sunday. The music is grating, Meg's tone is glossy and distant, and the formula gets old. The formula: intro commercial, opening theme, overview of the show, next commercial, Meg's Points to Ponder, next commercial, the interview, next commercial, the rest of the interview, listener mail, a wrap up, and I probably left out a couple commercials. I don't think Meg knows what sets podcasts apart from radio, which seems to be a common problem with Christian personalities over the age of 40, and her show suffers for it. I have to basically hold my proverbial nose every episode to try to get through it for the good direction and insight. Buyer beware.”Read full review »
