Some of the best advice out there for struggling parents!!
We have had (and still have) some incredibly difficult challenges with our teenage daughter, starting from 15 to almost 19 years old now. Everything from drug experimenting to alcohol, bad influence friends and boyfriends, and physical and verbal abuse to us. All along the way Mark has been a guiding light with his incredible insights, years of experience, and a way to share his information with others in such a way that it gives you hope that you can get through it all with the tools and suggestions he provides. We’ve recommended countless others to Mark in the hopes that his wisdom could help others as it has us. We’re not out of the woods yet with our challenges, but I honestly don’t know if we’d have gotten through some of our prior situations as well as we did had we not found Marks information. It’s help keep our family, and relationships with our children together, better than if we’d tried to deal with our issues on our own. Mark’s continued advice about having grace with your kids even in the worst situations was the best advice for me as a father. Normally I would have pushed my teen away thinking it would have had a better affect in turning her around, but I believe that may actions of grace have shown her that I love her no matter what, and because of that she has more respect for me and my relationship with her will be strong no matter what happens. To me that is critical as she grows up. I know we can work through all the other stuff. Not easy but with lots of love it does help. To all you parents out there struggling with your own child issues, all I can say is it’s worth taking the time to listen to some of Marks podcasts. It may being what helps your family in a time of need as it did with us.
