Love the silliness!
I'm just now listening to your anniversary episode. I've been a listener almost since the beginning but I'm not sure if I've ever left a review--and today I just had to! 3 things-- 1. I listened to your apology first, so that I wouldn't be wondering all episode what it was for. I also loved the book and was looking forward to the movie until I heard about those scenes. So disappointing. Much respect and love to you for taking action and explaining/cautioning about it, once it was brought to your attention. 2. I agree with the dad who said sometimes it takes a long time to get to the main content--so many times I've felt like you've just barely touched on something and then the episode is over. BUT I would love it if you just made your podcasts a bit longer as a fix--40 min would be just right since I listen while I do alllll the dishes or prep for dinner! 3. Please don't lose the fluff and silliness! There are so many serious podcasts out there and then plenty of nonsense ones--I can't think of any other podcast that balances the two as well as yours does. I appreciate that I can learn from you and come away with something to chew on, but also that there's fun stuff that makes me laugh. It's perfect for a tired mama who wants to grow but doesn't have the brain power I had pre-kids, and also who's listened to child banter all day long and needs some adult chit chat instead--even if it is just me listening! Again, the perfect solution is just to lengthen your podcasts by 10-15 min and then we're all happy right? 😂😬❤️ Thank you so much, and I hope to see you again at the Rocky Mtn Homeschool Conference in Denver this summer--or at least next summer, if you don't go the same place 2 years in a row. That's where I first "met" you last summer, and I'm so grateful! I have your Wise Words for Moms and I gifted it to my cousin and 2 best friends as well. It is so helpful and has made a big difference in our home!Read full review »

It is so easy to get lost in the myriad of parenting books, articles, podcasts and webinars out there today. I truly desire to raise my kids based on the wisdom of God’s Word and to move beyond just their outward behavior. This podcast is so practical and encouraging towards that end! I’m so...Read full review »

This new podcast from Ginger Hubbard is such an amazing help to me in parenting my children. I love her practicality, her wisdom, and her encouragement. I look forward to listening each week so that I can better learn to use God’s Word in discipling my children.
