“The hosts aim to stimulate a lively dialogue about the what-ifs and viewer reaction to various aspects of the episodes. while injecting personal touches and insight from their training in television production. They haven't quite succeeded. The pair don't appear to have marshalled their talking points in advance, and don't play off their contrasts well enough to bring out the issues. In an attempt to create the show they envision, they broadcast every single listener e-mail, tweet, voice mail and 5-star review, including ones where the person appears to have hit send accidentally, and ones from their parents, and they don't always appear to have prescreened the material.
A good rewatch podcast makes you feel like you're sitting on the couch after watching the episode and discussing it with friends who were paying attention and noticed and liked things you didn't pick up on. I wouldn't kick Hannah and Will off my couch, and indeed would invite them back to talk about the show and all the random things that come to their minds, especially as I think Hannah would bring the good chips to share. I'm sure they're 5-star people.
