I applaud the AAP for having a new Equity Leadership position and their commitment to further examining and tackling the racial inequities in medicine. However, I have two concerns. First “eliminating race-based medicine” sounds too similar to the Supreme Court announcement that “race blind” is...Read full review »

Not nearly enough helpful medical info to put up with the lib agenda constantly being shoved down your throat. Enough already

I appreciated Dr First’s discussion of the treatment of anxiety in pediatric practice. Dr. First refers to a study that said that people who report more positive experiences are less likely to have anxiety. He also gives the excellent point of asking them for a recent moment that they enjoyed...Read full review »

Excellent content this podcast offers. However the constant fake laughter, especially when juxtaposed on serious topics, is a feature I find distracting. I only rarely will listen to it as a result of this chosen style of presentation.

I love this podcast as a way to catch highlights related to new pediatric clinical guidelines and studies, to learn about topics I might not have considered much before, and to hear discussions on topics I’ve considered a lot but which can be challenging. I love the curiosity, energy, humor, and...Read full review »

Usually like this podcast a lot; however this live one was, frankly, unprofessional and embarrassing, except when the guests gave serious information. All those puns and jokes (followed by groans and nervous laughs) were a waste of time. It sounded like doctors trying their hand at stand up comedy.

This is my favourite podcast on the go; thanks a lot!

This latest episode really was stunningly illustrative about how political the practice of medicine has become, even in pediatrics. It’s really too bad. I used to come here to keep my practice current and medically sound. Now I come here and feel like the AAP simply has a political axe to grind....Read full review »

Ever since I discovered the launch date of Pediatrics On Call, I set weekly reminders on my calendar just so I won’t forget the new episode for that week. Both Joanna Parga-Belinkie and David Hill make an excellent job in introducing the latest research and topics in pediatrics - just the other...Read full review »

Thank you for this amazing podcast , I am a junior doctor from Egypt who is a great fan of [ The Curbsiders podcast ] , I was so happy when I knew from my fav podcast that the AAP did it’s own with the same friendly interesting Ped talks like the Curbsiders do ! , Since I am about to start my...Read full review »

Great podcast with bites of helpful information. It’s helpful as a PNP. The AAP is a physician group but as someone who works hand in hand with pediatricians it would be nice to be acknowledged and included instead of consistently using the label of pediatrician or physician.
