“Hard to follow the different time periods. Rosamund Pike is a brilliant actor but she already covered this ground in Gone Girl. The story is set in America, but American characters use Britishisms like “ring me” (instead of call me) and A&E (instead of Emergency) which makes the storytelling feel inauthentic.”
