Welcome to the Permian Perspective Podcast. In this episode special episode Krista covers the current election. Discussing the City Council Candidates and MISD bond proposals. Below are a list of the current Election Candidates:  We have three candidates running for Mayor.  Local Businessman and Incumbent Mayor Jerry Morales Local businesswoman Jenny Cudd  And Local Businessmand and Consultant Patrick Payton    All three are very impressive candidates who I know personally so I encourage you to go to their websites to read their bios and their platform on the key issues facing our community.  City council District 3: EJ Baldridge  Kathryn Chandler  Jack Ladd  Bradley James  Robin Poole  City Council District 4  Kimberly Crisp  Lori Blong  J Danie Corrales(Dan Corrales)  The Midland Independent School District is proposing the following bond.  Proposition A:  The Issuance of a $569 Million dollar bond school building bonds for the construction, acquisition and equipment of school buildings in the district(including the rehabilitation, renovation expansion and improvement thereof) and levying of the tax in payment thereof.  For more information go to   https://yesformidlandkids.com/      There are also 10  State of Texas propositions that voters will be deciding. Topics include Municpal  Go to   https://ballotpedia.org/Texas_2019_ballot_measures    Early voting is underway now until Friday November 1st.  Here are the early voting locations in Midland  City Annex Office Centennial Library Fellowship Community Church Cogdell Learning Center Manor Park  *COUNTY ANNEX: OPEN FROM 7 AM – 7 PM on OCT 28-NOV 1*  And Election day is Tuesday November 5th. On election day you can vote from 7am to 7pm  At the following locations: County Annex Office Centennial Library Fellowship Community Church Cogdell Learning Center Manor Park    CURBSIDE VOTING FOR DISABLED VOTERS  Curbside voting is available during Early Voting and on Election Day.
