Fascinating story, I wish he would tell it
I was excited for this podcast! Two episodes in, and the host just repeats over and over how the man was a genius, and that his plans were masterpieces of crime. And it’s clearly well researched with many firsthand interviews! But besides the first story of Madame G, which is told in only the briefest overview, there are no examples. Suddenly he is on the run, now he is in Israel, now in France, escaping the police, but for what crime? … it’s just very hard to follow. There are podcasts that do non-linear storytelling in a way that adds interest, but this is just murky. Also this should go without saying but? Clear your throat before making a podcast! A husky voice can sometimes add gravitas but not a mucus laden voice 😂

More reviews of Persona: The French Deception
Given podcasts are by nature not visual, you would think the narration would be really important. He sounds as others have said detached and bored Also the weird rising intonation thing is so irritating. Just OK, I wouldnt waste your time

This podcast is well narrated and produced, packed full of information without being dry. Fascinating story and delivered to a high standard. Really well done.
