Irritating delivery
This should be a really interesting podcast but the verbal delivery of it (fake rising tone question? Descending tone answer to own question) makes it virtually unlistenable. Add to that, the fact that even though it’s based in France, the narrator hasn’t bothered to learn French pronunciation and it’s irritating beyond belief. Please, someone else do this story justice as this version is just awful American pap.

… but rather about the top-notch journalism and storytelling that made me listen to this fantastic and true story - with many unexpected twists. Very well done!

This was too short - I loved it! I’m sorry it’s over :( I will miss it. Lol From your theme song to your great reporting!

I stopped listening halfway through episode 2. Seems like a great story, but the way it’s told, I could not engage with it. Might have something to do with the characters not being introduced in a personal way, so I felt less compassionate. It become a big jumble if names and places.
