Getting better but still repeats what you find on the website
My intention is to keep listening to the podcast and update my review over time. It gained a couple of stars on the strength of episode 7 but it's still on probation :) The first 5 or 6 episodes were disappointing and the focus was simply repeating the news stories from the website. For a huge fan of the site this was the main reason I was disappointed. Episode 7 was better. The host felt much more comfortable and spent way more time talking ABOUT the news rather than just repeating it - definitely much better! I liked the way he tied his experiences into the stories, it added more context & depth. I still think it could offer so much more and hopefully it will with some tweaks/changes but right now it needs to continue adding more than what the website does. It has such an active readership/membership, leveraging that and bringing more features & commentary to a wider audience would help set it apart. I've gone into a much more detailed review of the first 5 or 6 episodes below. I have a ton more podcasts to be reviewed but will be sure to revisit the PPPP in a few months! http://davidcandlish.photography/news/2015/9/22/podcast-review-the-petapixel-photography-podcastRead full review »

Interjected with humor, this podcast gives great insights without the nitty, gritty details. Just enough to give summarized updates on the current issues in photography. Keep it up!
