Description
The Hindu goddess Tripura Bhairavi represents the power of Fire, which offers Purification. Tripura Bhairavi especially deals with the nine impediments of mind, blocking us on the yogic path. This Fire is the greatest terror of the universe, devouring all impurities. It is our will power to do the hard tapasya or exercise needed for spiritual transformation. Control over mind is necessary if we want the Ego to relax and abide in the awareness of the Self. Tripura Bhairavi gives us the strength to go beyond intellectual understanding into walking the talk, attaining true Being. The goddess helps us to overcome sickness, incompetence, doubt, delusion, sloth, non abstention, wrong understanding and last but not least the inability to attain or maintain a yogic state.
The 10 Mahavidyas are 10 “great bodies of knowledge” where Tantra meets Advaita Vedanta (nonduality). Through these 10 goddesses we learn about the nondual nature of primordial energy or Shakti, which is also the life force. Thus 10 secret Tantric mysteries are revealed, whose power will boost your spiritual growth. Expanding mind, body and consciousness, the related practices provide powerful tools for contemplation, meditation and true connection to the life force, both inside as outside.
