Love the content, sound quality is pretty low though. I don’t normally mind, but almost to the point where it’s distracting. Specifically episode on 1/24

While I applaud this podcast for attempting to be a Philosophy 101 course, it’s not. Go to great courses or any other free college course site. On top of that, if you look at the comments and discussions, it’s all the same people and the podcasters are appealing to a certain type of person.

These guys could use an editor. Pat and Jim seem like nice guys. But, I can’t get past the fact that this basically for conservative Catholics, and they sell it like it’s a general overview of philosophy. It’s just not.

This podcast has taught me so much! I am using it as a resource for getting through my Aristotle class this semester. Pat Flynn and Jim Madden are amazing teachers, funny guys, and both wicked smart. Also, they are both shredded. That’s a plus I guess. Dr. Madden in particular looks like what I...Read full review »

Pat Flynn isn’t afraid to confront the perennial questions that mankind has pondered since the beginning. The guests he invites on are always engaging and interesting while explaining their philosophical outlook or answer to a problem. This podcast isn’t for the faint of heart!

This podcast is for far right Catholics who want want to live in an anti-trans, anti-abortion echo chamber. This podcast does not have guests who disagree with the hosts’ hardline positions. It’s hard to even trust what the hosts say when they talk favorably of such intellectual lightweights like...Read full review »

This podcast has changed my life and my perspective of it. It made me aware of the importance of knowing philosophy. Pat and Jim both have an excellent way of explaining such abstract thought to a “regular” people, which is appreciated since I have no formal training in philosophy. The great...Read full review »

This is a great show. Pat and Jim do a good job introducing a lot of philosophical topics in a way I understand. Pat does a great job discussing philosophy stuff with guests as well. I’m not the most articulate, and I struggle understanding a lot of this stuff when I try to read it, but they talk...Read full review »

I’ve been asking for a podcast format from Pat for some time, so it’s so great that he’s done this. If you’re new to their channel, they talk about a plethora of philosophical topics. As an atheist, I love these dialogues they have with one another. It really goes to dispel the notion many...Read full review »
