“I was looking forward to hearing this podcast, as I had a brother who lived in Bangkok for 3 years and loved it. To my utter dismay and frustration, I quit listening after 17 minutes. Nowadays, there is way too much: “and then I was like, and then he was like, and then we all were like.” Like, I was like—bored and distracted trying to make sense of it or to even take it seriously. I know it’s hard to buck “cool” cultural trends, but...just sayin’.”
