Mostly fantastic
Tory Maguire is an excellent presenter and I have been enjoying the daily bite-size format after it changed. My only issue is Stephanie Peatling’s voice when she occasionally appears on the show. I do not say this to insult her or be mean-spirited. My own voice is not great and I would sound godawful on a podcast. I simply feel that her voice is not suited for this medium. She is a very accomplished journalist and her work is brilliant. Audio is just not the best way to showcase her talent she has in abundance.

This podcasts could be great if they did not have the music layered over the dialogue. We play these in the car and can not understand what the speakers are saying because of the mood music. Check the start of the Google / Facebook podcast as an example.

I love the ‘deep dives’ episodes and was a huge fan of the previous Please Explain presenters. Not such a big fan of the new presenter Chris Zapponne. The content seems quite robotic and is missing charisma.

After second leaders debate you release a pod the following day - to discuss the debate and declare it a tie. After third leaders debate (the one Albanese clearly won) - there’s no pod, no discussion, no coverage! If you’re unbiased, that’s certainly not how it looks. C’mon folks.
