“It's fun to go through Austen's works slowly and methodically. Emma is one of my favorites by her and definitely has my favorite adaptation... but I'm so glad you're almost done with it. Doing an obnoxious, exaggerated voice to mock Augusta is fun to do, I'm sure. To listen to, however, it absolutely is not. It was done way too much and for way too long and was the most grating thing I've ever had the displeasure to hear (and I used to listen to the hosts of TCO on the regular so that's saying something). I almost quit the podcast several times because of it and definitely put off listening to new episodes.”Read full review »
