“This podcast used to cover the news that other outlets and commentators were overlooking, and they still state that as their mission. But, in actuality, these days they talk about the most popular news stories.
The focus has always been Black, and still is, but they have caved to the pressure to have opinions on big headlines rather than trying to elevate smaller headlines. In that regard, they are no longer driving the conversation like they once were; they are following it.
