Biased average reporting…
This is worthy of some stars but 3 as it is average. I listened at the launch of this podcast excited to listen and learn only to get more frustrated with each episode. I didn’t learn in depth about political issues from both sides, purely their Labour leaning opinions, which I’m not against until…. The Emily Thornberry interview/chat. She answered like a true politician and they had absolutely no backbone to push back even when I am positive they didn’t agree, given some past views aired. They took the easy route and she never answered the hard questions. It put me off wanting to support Labour (not that conservatives are any better). I really wanted to feel hope UK politics could be saved but it needs to go darker still it seems before we hit rock bottom and improve. This Emily Thornberry rubbish , along with other drivel, it felt rather than striving to ‘save the UK’ it felt it was striving to divide, so I stopped listening, but I may well come back to it as I believe it’s important to absorb all opinions and different sides of an argument. Would be interesting to hear if this pod has grown and developed or just still very one-sided and average.

More reviews of Pod Save the UK

Hence, we need to understand each other’s issues. And I am a history nerd, but I’m firmly in the...Read full review »

I actually laughed out loud (in the good way, not the ‘politics is so bad you need to laugh or you’ll cry’ way) whilst listening. Thoughtful and hilarious chat about the state of the UK. Long live the pod.
