I recently went to see a live recording of Pod Save America (also a really great podcast) at the LA Times Book Festival and then realised Nish and Coco do the same for the UK. I am from the UK, live in the US - but am LOVING the witty, clever and probing view of what is going on at home. I can’t...Read full review »

Recently got into podcasts and have found this is my absolute favourite. Real highlight of the week when a new episode is released. Love Nish and Coco.

I’ve listened ever since the beginning I’m sad to say this podcast is just a Keir Starmer fan club, they might mock the Tories and rightly so, but honestly how far up Keir Starmers backside do they need to get, when they bring up the newest god awful policies from the Tories, Starmer says he...Read full review »

So informative and hilarious - It’s a highlight of the week.

This is worthy of some stars but 3 as it is average. I listened at the launch of this podcast excited to listen and learn only to get more frustrated with each episode. I didn’t learn in depth about political issues from both sides, purely their Labour leaning opinions, which I’m not against...Read full review »

This podcast is such a delight. Love the hosts, love their conversations, love their guests. Makes me want to pull up stakes and move across the pond.

Liz Bates as guest host appears more interested in hearing herself talk than who she’s interviewing. Constantly interrupting guests becomes super annoying. Otherwise, love the show!

I adore this podcast but absolutely loved the episode with Tom Baldwin and his Keir Starmer book. So informative and sterling interview!

The most subversive tool of the deep state that is brainwashing us with things such as logic and facts. Undermining bigots and hypocrites with humour is truly unpatriotic, and makes them enemies of the people. The revolution will not be televised, it’s on a podcast! 😁

Love Coco (an absolute dolly) and Nish (so sharp) and glad they’re part of the Crooked family. Only critique is that majority of the news stories are England-centric but presented as if applies to whole UK. Appreciated the recent focus on NI and Scotland, more from around the UK please!

With a five star review. This podcast is a lot better than it sounds at the surface. Oh, a podcast with Nish from the telly and a freelance journalist talking politics? I listened firstly to the one before Humza Yousaf’s interview and will now stayed tuned in. Great stuff.

Thank you Nish & Coco for speaking to our First Minister. To have a platform where you allow their energy and personality to come through is really refreshing. I look forward to listening to more episodes.

As a listener in the U.S., I truly love how they took the original concept and, unlike their American counterparts who are political insiders and often openly partisan, they seem not to have no party-based taboos and will scrutinize Labor, Tories and any other British political party or insider...Read full review »

Didn’t engage my interest. I expected a numerous analysis of political events of which the amount of material abounds. They seem to be having a great time but I would have left this kitchen party and gone home in the first five minutes.

Came for the nish, staying for the coco. Only thing I dislike is that I now find it hard to listen to herr kumar on comedy shows like the bugle without hearing his unexpectedly insightful commentary and having to remind myself that with nish there’s always a poo gag about half a glass of water...Read full review »

For me it took a while of episodes and I was getting close to stopping listening, but the show seems to have found its stride As someone who listens to a range of views; its good that there’s a left leaning side that has the production to balance out some of the bigger powers on the right side

Interviews are always excellent, but I would like to have much more of Coco and Nish discussing current events etc. they are wonderful as a pair playing off each other!

I love listening to PSUK! As a US based baker, it is a highlight of my early Friday mornings. Thank you so much for your honest, nuanced, and joyful insights into UK politics. Also, I’m going to need some PSUK “Bribe a White” merch.

I love Nish & Coco as presenters. The tone of this show is spot on. I like the humour and God knows we need some of that now. I want to be able to potter about and feel like I’ve got a couple of mates chatting about politics in my ear & this show gives that to me in spades. I don’t get...Read full review »

Upon the announcement of this show, I wondered how the pod boys would find British hosts who shared their faux-progressiveness on social issues but deep commitment to not significantly disturbing the neo-liberal economic order established under Thatcher and Reagan. The beauty of the USA original, Pod Save America, is that the hosts are genuine insiders who happen to be entertaining. For the UK version they’ve just gone for entertaining and forgotten to find presenters who know very much about how government and politics actually works. The concept is just...Read full review »

Really wanted to like this, but it’s just not working. Get new hosts with some actual political experience, able to have a critical discussion, and less rubbish ‘bants’

Great ep - not if you have heard of Chris Atkins who has a pod “bit of a stretch”. All about prisons and how to fix this broken system. He also has two books - just purchased his latest book - brilliant read. How do we make this compulsory reading for our MPs ?? Love the pod ❤️💕❤️

Smart and needed - excited to listen to this within my PSA and PSW rotation Pleased to hear about British politics from non war criminals too! I don’t understand fans of PSA having an issue with the left politics of PSUK… PSA is explicitly about electing more Dems. If anything PSUK is more neutral.

I’m a regular listener to Pod Save America and I also follow UK politics closely. When they advertised Pod Save the UK I was really hoping it would bring the same kind of analysis but sadly it just comes across as goofy and shallow. There are far, far better UK politics pods out there. Won’t be...Read full review »

This is more a review of some of the reviews on here than the programme itself. I’ve been listening since episode 1 and wanted to thank Nish for his thoughtful commentary on the Brand revelations. But more importantly, I found you on YouTube and Coco looks lovely (NOT THAT IT MATTERS). Keep up the great work, you two rock! Katja from Vienna

I have listened to this since I heard them introduced on another Crooked Media podcast. I love Nish and Coco! It has been great hearing about issues I care about from a different perspective.

I’ve been a long time listener of the Remaniacs and Oh God What Now podcasts, but once Ian Dundt left they lost their edge and any sense humor. I've really persevered with this show, as an avid PSTW and PSA listener for a few years I was so hopeful and excited about a British version but it's just, well, rubbish. I am an independent/lefty liberal in the US and love these two, their political positions and humor! I missed them during their recent hiatus. Just uplifting…in spite of what’s happening in the UK and the world, these two make me feel better! And I agree with them on nearly every position!🙏🙏🙏

Without fail this show talks about all the relevant hot topics with vigour and passion. Guest are always superb and waiting a week between episodes is far too long.

I love Coco and Nish, the former is new to me but I found the latter waxing poetic about how he wants to be the drummer in Coldplay. Great stuff! To be honest, I may not be the target demographic being American, but it sure is nice knowing politics in The UK are as wild as they are at home.
ohmygil via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/08/23
I love this format as longtime PSA listener. Was looking forward to this but not so keen. While both presenters I’m sure are across the material it just feels light weight in tone. John F and co in the US just seem more hard hitting. Just an observation.

I’m really enjoying this podcast. I was initially unsure as it doesn’t follow the same format as PSA (which I love) but I think Nish and Coco are in a good rhythm now and I think they’ll continue to get better every week. Having been a massive fan of Pod Save America and Pod Save the World for a few years now, I became a great fan of the commentary on policitcs, and the generally unbiased content (up until recently given the sate of the USA - this is not a criticism).
