Light, fluffy but too superficial.
I love the two hosts, they have great chemistry and I enjoy listening to them both. It’s a fun, funny, engaging romp through U.K. news. But I much prefer this pod when they tackle lighter subjects. The hosts just aren’t strong enough interviewers to for anything else. They uncritically agree with everything that’s said and there’s no real thought or analysis. A great example is the latest pod with George Monbiot. He mentioned “neo liberalism” dozens of times, blamed it for almost every current world problem with no explanation as to why. It wasn’t explored or questioned. I want to know much more and understand this stance. I’m not advocating for a confrontational style of interview, pods are better at long form. But I’d prefer a slightly less unthinking approach to the subjects.

Fascinating look into Brit politics and culture. Good mix of humor and intelligent commentary. Nish, you talk over Coco a lot.

I love PSA and PSTW, but living in the UK I’ve always felt like I’m reaching to connect with crooked. It feels so good to have you guys reach back across the pond. Can’t wait to listen every week
