“Listening to God's word each day with Hunter is like showing up with Mr. Rogers. There are certain routines and consistencies to the program, including phrases repeated each day and the song of the acoustic guitar introducing and closing each broadcast, that put my mind in a place to receive God's word. Hunter presents the time as way to journey together through God's voice, and also presents himself as a brother in Christ who is willing and wanting to be seen as God's child and a friend to listeners. For me there is a noticeable difference in my day and mindset when I am able to take the 20 minutes to be still and listen to let the time of worship to wash over me with the Daily Radio Bible, than when I am not in the word at all.
