“After studying Italian for a few months now, I was dissappointed at the lack of materials available for serious, self-taught language learners. It seems like most Italian materials are geared toward a more casual / touristic crowd, with not much available for people who want to learn more than just grammar and phrases to use while on vacation. Davide's podcast is the absolute best thing I've found so far for this kind of learning!! He always has something interesting to talk about, and he strikes a perfect balance between casual conversation and pauses to explain difficult words or phrases. It is the kind of thing you can listen to just for fun, and you'll end up getting in some great practice and learning some new words without even noticing it! EXACTLY the kind of material I was looking for, and EXACTLY what the language learning world needs more of. There is simply no better format to learn online than the one Davide has here.
