Meandering show with too much cross promotion
The show started with promise but has recently become a show that only talk about Dan's other shows and comes across with no true substance. If you can get through the first half of the show there is some content that is useful. But you first have to listen to Dan pat himself on the back to get to that content. And sadly most of the info he's providing can be found in a book or elsewhere online. The series of shows needs structure. Each episode starts with the listener sitting down while uncle Dan spins a yarn about wanting to be a radio DJ as a kid. Then someone prods him with a stick and he answers listener questions. Ideally the show would have structure give you a focused topic each week. Start the episode off with follow up question from the previous episode (ad read) go into main topic (ad read) and close with general Twitter questions. There's the root of a good show here. Save it before this show too, falls down the rabbit hole of uselessness.Read full review »

Dan Benjamin is a terrific teacher. You can tell how passionate he is by his enthusiasm in answering people's questions.Read full review »

A lot of questions are answered, questions I didn’t even know I had! The only podcast I listen to the moment it comes out!
